The Baby Einstein Company has developed various videos that enhance and stimulate brain development through language, art, and music. From this company now comes Baby Einstein World Animals which comes from the Baby Dolittle series, a series that explores the animal kingdom. Baby Einstein World Animals is the sequel to Neighborhood Animals.
In Baby Einstein World Animals, children ages 1 to 4 are introduced to the wonder of the Animal Kingdom by exploring and discovering different animals in their natural habitat. The program runs for thirty minutes as viewers foray into the different animal worlds specifically the jungle, the ocean, and the savannah. In the video, children watch different animals such as tigers, elephants, and giraffes and how they go about their everyday life in their habitats. They will also some of the more whimsical animals such as squirrels, toucans, pandas, zebras, starfish, and lemurs.
To be able to capture the short attention span of the children, we are also introduced to Jane the Monkey, who is the host of Baby Einstein World Animals. With the footage of the video ranging from live action to puppet segments, the host Jane the monkey uses colorful props and different drawings of children to make the segments flow seamlessly from one to the other. Sample footage include animal paw prints that transform into words, and photos and videos of animals and their antics such as monkeys swinging from tree to tree, sea turtles swimming, and dolphins diving in the ocean. Just like other videos from Baby Einstein, these visuals are accompanied by classical music which is said to stimulate brain development much better than other types of music. Classical music accompaniment in Baby Einstein World Animals includes compositions by Mendelssohn and Dvorak along with other children’s songs. While footage of animals set to classical music are being shown, parent interaction in a variety of ways is also encouraged.
As they grow, children develop their awareness of things around them, and one of the most intriguing things that they can discover is the wonderful world of wild animals. Although the animals seen in the video can also be seen in a zoo, it is much better to discover and observe them roaming free in their natural habitats, as presented in Baby Einstein World Animals.
DVD features include three language tracks – English, Spanish, and French, as well as repeat play, electronic World Animals discovery flash cards, a toy chest, and additional puppet shows. To fully appreciate this video, it is recommended for children ages 12 months and up.
Take your child for a trip around the world and introduce them to the amazing and captivating animal kingdom with Baby Einstein World Animals. Led by Jane the monkey, introduce your children and go with them on a journey around the world as you discover the delightful world of wild animals while listening to soothing and child-friendly classical musical music to ensure greater stimulation of brain development which not only children will enjoy, but also their parents.
